How to write more words…

For the first time in a decade and a half, I took two consecutive weekends off. GASP!!!

And I think I might be onto something. I spend a couple of days focused on not writing, and then I actually feel like writing when I get back to my computer.

It’s not that I’ve written every day for 15 years. It’s that on days I didn’t write, I felt guilty about it. Actually taking time off and NOT FEELING GUILTY? Is new.

Might try it again next weekend.

In the meantime, less than a week till LOST BOYS 2.0 releases. I’m excited. How ’bout you?

I witnessed a crime…

So not Spring in the air then, but a helluva lot more snow!

And to think, earlier this week I could have sworn Spring was in the air. Here’s how accurate my weather sense is, taken this morning at the dog park:

A bush bent to the ground under the weight of the wet snow. And:

Heading down into the park behind Sunnybrook Hospital complex. This is mid-town Toronto. You’d think I was somewhere up north in cottage country.

Yonge & Eg in the dark today…

Image   Serious research (looking out my window) reveals that the north side of Soudan is affected but not the south, so I’m not in the dark (for once). Good thing my pal The Nightowl moved out of her hi-rise yesterday or she’d be powerless.
