Reluctant Reaper status

Cover Art Coming SoonPeople–even strangers!–are asking what’s the status of The Reluctant Reaper series as we leave 2012 behind.

Well, I’ll tell you.

Book 1, The Reluctant Reaper, is at copy edits. I’ve done my work on it and sent it to local pal etui for her comma-kazi review. Next stop, galleys sometimes in the new year. Release date: June 2013*

Book 2, Scythe Does Matter, is at line edits. I’ve done my part and sent it to writer pal Joan Leacott for her review. Release date: July 2013*

Book 3, Esprit de Corpse, has been written and beta’d by my friend and mentor Kate Freiman. She’s just checking with lawyer hubby on some courtroom details. Release date: August 2013*

Book 4. I’ve started to poke at that. Got some ideas for the beginning and the end. Now for the middle! Release date? I hope so!

I’ve discovered that spending nearly a decade writing fanfic prepared me well for writing on in a series. The only difference is the sandbox I’m playing in is my own! ;-D

So that’s the status of the series. Thanks for asking. And a Happy New Year!
